Medical compression garments offer many quality solutions for practitioners and the varying range of conditions and patients they face. However, there are also many options available and many variables to the garments, the patients and the condition – all need to be considered. Which garment to use? What pressure class? How to apply? Reduction phase? Patient compliance? etc.
This workshop is designed to increase knowledge and skills around garments, trouble shoot the difficult patient, and shed light on the extensive range of garment options available and how best to utilise them for improved patient outcomes.
On completion you will be confident to identify the different conditions and limb shapes, troubleshoot challenging patients, and measure and fit medical compression garments and wraps
